DESCRIPTION:The voting for the next Trottinghamshire Meetup is now closed\, and we have a confirmed booking at The Dice Cup for the 18th of December. To see the details behind why this date was picked see the blog post on the results for the Christmas and January Meetups voting. \nI think it goes without saying\, but it’s probably a good idea to bring a mask to go in the shops whilst wearing it\, especially considering the new Omicron variant. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeetup agenda & Venues\nThe plan for the Christmas meetup is to start next to the Christmas Tree outside the Dunkin Donuts inside the Exchange Arcade at 12 Noon\, and then at about 12:30 PM heading off to look around the Nottingham Christmas Market. \nThe market will be located along Long Row and Smithy Row offering a chance for some Christmas shopping. The market will be stalls selling gifts and crafts. There will also be food stalls at the market if people want to have a bite to eat before going to the Dice Cup. Especially considering the last couple of years we have had. \nMeetup agenda & Venues\nEDIT: Sorry for the ping\, but there is an important change announcement to the Trottinghamshire Bronies meetup tomorrow due to the tram disruption. We are now planning to meet at the Nottingham Train Station at 12:00 Noon\, then board the SkyLink bus from the Greyfriars stop at around 12:30. \nWe should hopefully arrive at the Gregory Street stop (right nearby The Johnson Arms) at about 1 PM. Please note that this is a little earlier than originally communicated\, due to the differing bus times. \nOf course\, if you’re arriving via car or alternate transport\, we hope to see you at the pub around 1! I think this is a good idea\, as it means members of the group can still keep in touch throughout the upcoming months. \nIn order to have this Virtual Meetup\, I am going to add extra\nAudio Channels (Canterlot \, Ponyville \,Cloudsdale ) to the [Trottinghamshire Bronies Discord\nServer] under a new category called Virtual Meetup\, to help coordinate the usual Table Top Games we play at meetups. There will also be an Audio Channel (Trottingham ) for anyone who just wants to catch up with friends. \nAs for future meetups\, I will be still running a poll to pick the Meetup Date for May\, the weekend after the April meetup. This year\, because of venue availability\, we are holding the Pre Meetup and After Meetup at different places. \nTo find more info about the the Pre Meet\, the venue (The Dice Cup) and the quickest way to get there from the UKPC Venue\, please check the UKPC Pre Meet Event Page \nThe After Meet\nThe Venue\nSundays are the quietest day for The Johnson Arms\, so there will adequate table space for card games such as TSSSF and MLP CCG\, even if people bring convention merch with them. If playing table top games is not your thing\, there will be plenty of people who you can just hang out with and socialise. \nTravelling to meetup Venue\nThe Plan for the After Meet is to meetup at the Royal Centre tram stop (it’s only couple of minutes from the convention centre) at 5:45 Pm to catch the 5:54 PM Toton Lane tram. We will then get off at the Gregory Street tram stop and head over to the main venue\, The Johnson Arms\, which we have booked from 6:15 PM to 11:00 PM. The route we will be taking can be found below as a embedded google map.  \nThere is a Toton Lane tram every 10 minutes so don’t worry if you can’t make it to the Royal Centre tram stop by 5:54 PM.
