SUMMARY:Virtual (Online) Meetup Due to COVID-19 [April the 25th]
DESCRIPTION:Due to the government’s most recent advice on COVID-19\, I have\ndecided not to run a Meetup for April. However\, I will be running a Virtual Meetup on the date we would have had the April Meetup (25th of April). \nMy plan for this Virtual Meetup is to be logged on in Discord\, on the 25th of April between 12 pm and 5 pm\, so if anyone wants to still catch up\, play Table Top Games (Via Table Top Simulator)\, and possibly have a game of Tails of Equestria\, we can do so. I think this is a good idea\, as it means members of the group can still keep in touch throughout the upcoming months. \nIn order to have this Virtual Meetup\, I am going to add extra\nAudio Channels (Canterlot \, Ponyville \,Cloudsdale ) to the [Trottinghamshire Bronies Discord\nServer] under a new category called Virtual Meetup\, to help coordinate the usual Table Top Games we play at meetups. There will also be an Audio Channel (Trottingham ) for anyone who just wants to catch up with friends. \nAs for future meetups\, I will be still running a poll to pick the Meetup Date for May\, the weekend after the April meetup. DESCRIPTION:With it being less than a week away from December\, we can now confirm the details for what we will be doing at the Christmas meetup on the 7th of December. \nThe meetup will start at the Costa Coffee in the entrance hall of Nottingham Train Station at 11:15 AM. Then at 11:45 we will head over to The Johnson Arms via the Toton Lane tram (Getting off at Gregory Street) hopefully getting to the pub for 12 PM. \nOnce we get to the The Johnson Arms the plan is to wait until everyone has had food\, and then have an MLP Christmas Quiz like we had last year. However\, there are some changes from last year. It is not possible for us to use the Quiz Machine or the projector\, but I have been informed that we will be able to plug in an HDMI cable into one of the TVs to show the Quiz from a Laptop. \nAs the quiz should not take all up all of the meetup\, there should be enough time to play our usual games of TSSSF and MLP CCG. If playing table top games is not your thing there is a large beer garden out the back. \nRoute to The Johnson Arms from Meetup Start Point\n \nThe Reason for April’s change of venue and meetup starting point.\nTo cut a long story short\, after the feedback from the last meetup’s attendees about the problems of the venue (Castle Pub)\, I tried and book the Lloyds No.1 Bar and the Cafe Sobar as they was included in the group’s favourites for a new regular meetup place. \nHowever while trying to book them I found out that both Lloyds No.1 Bar and the Cafe Sobar no longer do group bookings for weekends\, because they can never know how busy there are going to be on a Saturday and Sunday. \nSo means there is a total of three places in the centre of Nottingham that no longer allow weekend bookings. DESCRIPTION:This will be the first meetup since the 5 Year Anniversary\, so this will be slower compared to the said Anniversary meetup. \nThe plan this time round is to hang around The Orange Tree pub on Shakespeare Street in Nottingham and catch up with members. The Orange Tree has adequate table space for the people who enjoy playing card games during these meets\, so people can play TSSSF\, tails of Equestria (a Pen and Paper RPG)\, and MLP CCG at the meetup. \nIt is also close to the Victoria Shopping Centre\, so if anyone wants to do some shopping during the meet\, you won’t have far to go. \nThe Location

DESCRIPTION:In celebration of 6 years since this group’s inception\, this month’s meetup will be a bit more special. We’ll begin the meetup at 12:00 at the *COSMO buffet* in Nottingham to have lunch until 1:45 pm or when everyone has finished eating and paid for their meal.\n\nAfterwards\, we will be migrating to *The Orange Tree*\, where we have a table booked between *2 pm* and *3:25 pm* to sit and relax for a bit before heading off to *Quasar Elite*.\n\nWe aiming to arrive at Quasar for *3:50 pm*\, as we have booked 2 games of Laser Quest at *4:00 pm*.\n\nWe do recommend that you *don’t go crazy with how much you eat at the buffet* if you are planing on attending the *Laser Quest* games\, as we *do not* want anyone falling ill during the games. If you haven’t been to a buffet before\, while it is tempting to try as much food as possible\, *we encourage you to eat responsibly*.
