Trottinghamshire 7th of December Meetup @ Nottingham Train St. / Johnson Arms

With it being less than a week away from December, we can now confirm the details for what we will be doing at the Christmas meetup on the 7th of December.

The meetup will start at the Costa Coffee in the entrance hall of Nottingham Train Station at 11:15 AM. Then at 11:45 we will head over to The Johnson Arms via the Toton Lane tram (Getting off at Gregory Street) hopefully getting to the pub for 12 PM.

Once we get to the The Johnson Arms the plan is to wait until everyone has had food, and then have an MLP Christmas Quiz like we had last year. However, there are some changes from last year. It is not possible for us to use the Quiz Machine or the projector, but I have been informed that we will be able to plug in an HDMI cable into one of the TVs to show the Quiz from a Laptop.

As the quiz should not take all up all of the meetup, there should be enough time to play our usual games of TSSSF and MLP CCG. If Pen and Paper RPGs are more of your thing (and if we have enough time after the quiz) we could run a one-shot campaign of Tails of Equestria at the meetup.

If playing tabletop games is not your thing, there will be plenty of people who you can just hang out and socialise with. If the group wants to, and weather permitting, there’s also the option to spend the non-quiz part of the meetup in the large beer garden out the back.
