It’s time to pick the date for the June Virtual 2020 Trottinghamshire Meetup. This poll will close on the 24th of May at Midnight. Like last time around there is also the optional question to pick dates that you don’t want to have the meetup on, to be used in case of a tie break between days.

Our May Meetup this month had about 10 people on the call, and most of the time was spent playing [Twilight Sparkle’s Secret Shipfic Folder], Cards Against Equestria (both via Tabletop Simulator) and Jackbox. The rest of the time was spent socialising and catching up with people.

The plan for June’s meetup is to run another Virtual Meetup by having an audio call going on in our Trottinghamshire Bronies Discord Server, between 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm (-ish), and keep the overall schedule as light as possible. This way people can decide what they want to do on the on the day. So we can run the Virtual Meetup, Audio Channels have now been added to in the Trottinghamshire Bronies Discord Server to help coordinate playing games online and socialising (Canterlot🔈, Ponyville🔈,Cloudsdale🔈, and Trottingham🔈).

It’s time to pick the date for the May Trottinghamshire Virtual Meetup. This time around there is also the optional question to pick dates that you don’t want to have the meetup on. This poll will close on the 3rd of May at Midnight.

Our last meetup in April was rather successful, with about 6 people on call for a total of over 14 hours. Some of the time was spent playing Pony Town, Jackbox, Cards Against Equestria. The rest of the time was spent just catching up, and watching pony videos (or just random videos from the internet).

Because of this, the plan is to run another Virtual Meetup in
May by having an audio call in our Trottinghamshire Bronies
Discord Server, between 12 pm and 5 pm (-ish), and keep the overall schedule as light as possible. This way people can decide what they want to do it on the day. Meetup. This poll will close on the 16th of March at Midnight.

The April’s meetup date is being voted on ahead of the March’s meetup, as to give people who need more than a month notice of when the next meetup is going to be, more of a chance of making it to the meetup. This will also help anyone who is traveling from outside of Nottinghamshire, as it should make it easier to plan travel arrangements.

However, in order to choose the April meetup date this month I will be excluding Sundays from the poll. The reason for this that I’m attending an event in April that I know is going to be on a Sunday. However said event is in the planning stages, and I do not know which Sunday it is going to be. So as we don’t hold meetups on Sunday that often I have decided to not include Sundays this time round, rather than delay the voting.

The plan for the next Trottinghamshire meetup

The Meetup will start at 11:15 AM in the Costa Coffee within the entrance hall of Nottingham Train Station at 11:15 AM. Then, at 11:45 we will head over to The Johnston Arms via the Toton Lane tram (Getting off at Gregory Street), hopefully getting to the pub for 12 PM.

The Johnston Arms has adequate table space for the people who
enjoy playing card games during these meets, such as TSSSF and MLP CCG. If Pen and Paper RPGs are more of your thing, we will most likely be running a game of Tails of Equestria at the meetup if we have the time to.

If playing tabletop games is not your thing there will be plenty of
people who you can just hang out with and socialise. If the group wants to and the weather is good outside, we can decide to have the meetup in the large beer garden out the back.

It’s time to pick the date for the March 2020 Trottinghamshire
Meetup. This poll will close on the 9th of Feb at Midnight.

The voting for March’s meetup date is being posted early, ahead of Febuary’s meetup, as to give people just under a months notice of when the next meetup is going to be. This will hopefully help people
traveling from outside of Nottinghamshire, or people need more notice of the meetup date.

It’s time to pick the date for the first Trottinghamshire Meetup of the year. This poll will close on the 11th of January at Midnight.

The posting for the voting for the first meetup date of the year has been delayed, due to me moving into a new house. Because of this, I have only now managed to find the time to start organizing this year’s first Trottinghamshie meetup. Because of how late I started planing this meetup, have included January and February, as there would only be two weekends in January to pick from otherwise.

The plan for the next Trottinghamshire meetup: start at 11:15

There has been a month hiatus since the last meetup (unless you count the UKPC Pre/After Meets), and while Generation 4 of My Little Pony has finished, the Trottinghamshire Bronies are not going to stop doing meetups anytime soon.

The plan for the next Trottinghamshire meetup: it will start at 11:15 AM in the Costa Coffee within the entrance hall of Nottingham Train Station at 11:15 AM.

Then, at 11:45 we will head over to The Johnston Arms via the Toton Lane tram (Getting off at Gregory Street), hopefully getting to the pub for 1 PM.

Edit: Due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn’t able to post a reminder for voting closing last night. Because of this I have reopened voting until 6pm tonight. This is so I can still contact The Johnston Arms later today (20/08/2019).

It’s time to pick the dates for the August/September Trottinghamshire Meetup. This poll will close on the 19th of August at 11:45 PM.

There has been a month hiatus since the last meetup, but hopefully having a meetup will help people get over the post-con blues. However, this time around the pre-meetup will start around 11:15 AM at Costa Coffee in the entrance hall of Nottingham Train Station Then, at 11:45 we will head over to The Johnston Arms via the Toton Lane tram (Getting off at Gregory Street), hopefully getting to the pub for 12 PM.

The reason the start time has been changed is that it will give people more time at The Johnston Arms, as our meetups there have felt shorter than the ones we had at our old venue.

The Johnston Arms has adequate table space for the people who enjoy playing card games during these meets, such as TSSSF and MLP CCG. If Pen and Paper RPGs are more of your thing, we will most likely be running a game of Tails of Equestria at the meetup if we have the time too.

Just a quick reminder that the poll for next Trottinghamshie Meetup will close Today at Midnight (10th of March). Sorry it wasn’t published earlier, but as mentioned via various channels (Facebook/Discord,Telegram, etc) the heavy snow in Mansfield kind killed off my internet, but hopefully it hasn’t cause too much of inconvenience. 

This poll also includes a extra question about if we should pick the date for the 5 Year Anniversary Meetup earlier than June (We are planing on having the Anniversary in) to avoid the room at the Orange Tree from being booked when we need it. 

As usual the plan is to hang around The Orange Tree pub on Shakespeare Street in Nottingham and catch up with members. The Orange Tree has adequate table space for the people who enjoy playing card games during these meets, so people can play TSSSF and MLP CCG at the meetup. 

It is also close to the Victoria Shopping Centre, so if anyone wants to do some shopping during the meet, you won’t have far to go.

There maybe other things going on, but that depends on the date picked.
